I have searched far and wide for a picture of this vintage strat ever since I first laid eyes on it last year. The man himself must've read my mind. Thank you JM.
I'm a strat guy myself but you should experiment with other sounds too. There are so many types of woods, pickups, amps, construction styles, etc... out there. You should play a Koa wood guitar, they have the full rich tone of a heavy wood like mahogany and still has the clear highs typically found in lighter woods like alder and ash.
