Six more hours before 2003 begins.. Why the heck did I wake up three hours ago? Where the heck did 2002 run off to?? What the heck?

Happy New Year!! =D

Had fun at a small spontaneous gathering at Andychon's place in burbank. Here's a quick recap:

7:40 pm: Me, Elizabeth and Hanna arrive at Andy's place. Paul, Heuge, Dennis, and Hiyas, with the exception of TJ who came later, were already there. We watch some of andy's ingenius clips off his computer. Guys strengthen their friendships as they grope each other conveniently on andy's bed.

7:40pm - 10pm: We eat the goodies that mr and mrs chon made, have a lot of laughs, and complain to each other that we need to go out and do something. Since Burbank is pretty much a ghost town and not the industrial, illustrious city that other burbankians make it out to be, the only suggestion that was thrown out was, "Hey guys, let's go to Krispy Kreme and try to get some free doughnuts!"

10:15pm - 10:30pm: Eight upperclassmen college students walk into Krispy Kreme, stare at the doughnut-production assembly line, and sit down at the tables without buying any of their doughnuts. I don't know if any one of us were pathetic enough to go ask for a free doughnut, but I think Liz and Paul eventually did. They came back with an unsweetened, un-powdered doughnut which tasted horrible. Eight humiliated upperclassmen college students walk out fifteen minutes later.

10:30pm - 12:30am: Go back to andy's house and chill. Guys "strengthen" their relationships again, almost tearing apart andy's bed. Everyone departs.

Thoughts? Downey is where the party's at. We have the oldest existing McDonald's baby!

I went to Nickel Nickel and ice skating with a group of church & high school friends today, and I had a really fun time.. Nickel Nickel is this really really cheap arcade where instead of paying quarters, you insert nickels into the machines. For a game that would cost seventy-five cents to play, you would put in three nickels instead of three quarters. You first would have to pay an entrance fee of $2.95 though. They still had their wide variety of arcade games.. fighting games like "Street Fighter vs. Capcom," those shooting games like "Time Crisis" and "House of the Dead," and those games that reward you tickets which you can trade for prizes at the counter. Too bad that on more than half of the games I played, some of the buttons were broken or the joystick wasn't working correctly. But the last half hour of our stay was really fun; we all gave up on the arcade games and gleefully shoved nickels into those ticket games, trying to get all the tickets we can. I traded in my 150 hard-earned tickets for six pixie sticks. Fred traded in his 150 tickets for a deck of cards. I should have followed Fred.

Afterwards, a bunch of us went ice skating. It was hilarious watching Daniel Pok learning how to skate backwards, having near-death experiences every other moment. Cindy and I were learning how to do spins, but that foolio lied and already knew how to, and I felt like throwing up from spinning around so much.

Tomorrow, I'm scheduled to go to the dentist and have a root canal treatment performed on a molar in the left side of my mouth. I'm really scared, but I'm glad I have encouraging friends like you roach:

ALEXsHYUN: wow..ur gonna be in a lot of pain man
ALEXsHYUN: haha..i was thinkin about how ur not gonna be able to eat for a while rite
ALEXsHYUN: and i was thinkin bout that one snl
ALEXsHYUN: where there's this dad and son
ALEXsHYUN: who chews his food and spits it back out for his son to eat like a mother bird feeds her chicks

O, who will be my mother bird? Gross.

It was a close game, and sadly, the outcome was unexpected. I'm just glad Shaq spanked Bobby Jackson and jacked up his finger. It's okay, the Lakers will be back to caliber by June.. and they're still the better-looking team (it's a sin for Doug Christie to be that ugly).
Merry merry Christmas everyone.

To hype myself up for LOTR II, I just finished watching the entire "Lord of the Rings" DVD set, which has the full-length movie, the theatrical trailers, the "making of the movie" documentaries, tv specials, the enya music video (that was kinda weird), commentaries, and sneak previews to LOTR II. I think I sat on the couch for four hours. Dood, this movie better be worth it.

I don't understand people who reside in LA choose to hate the Lakers. That's like a little kid going to Disneyland only to spit on Mickey Mouse. Sure, Rick Fox may have butterfingers, but the chance of gaining bragging rights or any notion of victory will slip out of the Sacramento Queens' hands come Christmas day. What a nice present that will be for sac-town and laker-hater fans. Eat that roacha!

Home is so great.. I woke up at 6:30pm today. I went to sleep when it was dark outside, and when I woke up, it was still dark outside. Hahah.. I think I just needed to recuperate from finals season.

A couple hours later, I drove around the neighborhood in downey to look at decorated lighted houses. It was pretty, but for some reason, not a lot of houses were lighted this year. Whether it's due to the current state of the economy or if people got more lazy, I don't know. But it was great knowing that I didn't have to go home to study, or go to work the next day, or even worry about what to eat when I got home. Thank God for momma.

Christmas is coming in four days. Weird..as you get older, everything just seems to creep up on ya.

Thursday, December 19, 2002

Went to study at denny's at 5:30am, later than planned. It was just me, nancy, billy and rob. I think I got a lot of studying done, even though we did end up talking and goofing off a little. At one time, I told billy that he was incredibly sexy. He slipped me a note a couple moments later, saying that the old man behind me turned around and gave me a weird look when I said that. Hahah whatever, I think the old guy just wanted a chance to goggle at the sexy beast himself.

Hmm, that was kinda gross...sorry.

Took my last final. Hahah no way..

I'm finally finished

Wednesday, December 18, 2002

Less than 21 hours before my last final of the year is over.. I hope the study session tonight with nancy, rob, snoh and billy at denny's will be productive. Dood, if I don't get anything done, I'm never ever going back there again. I'm serious this time

Been running out of things lately:

1) toothpaste - Got so bad to the point that I cut the other end of the tube, so I can use my toothbrush to scrape up any remaining toothpaste that might still be in there
2) contact solution
3) hairspray
4) appetite
5) patience to go home

ninjachoccobo: BAM is a good one
ninjachoccobo: it used to be in circulation here @ kcpc
ninjachoccobo: language
boy52: hahah
ninjachoccobo: BAM is interesting
ninjachoccobo: the class above mine
ninjachoccobo: said BAM was brothers against macking
ninjachoccobo: so if a guy was talking to a girl
ninjachoccobo: another guy could hit him and say BAM
ninjachoccobo: and he had to stop
boy52: hahahah
ninjachoccobo: hah hah hah

ninjachoccobo: then... some guys rebelled
ninjachoccobo: and changed it to - born again mackers
ninjachoccobo: my class kinda used it as
ninjachoccobo: bust a move
ninjachoccobo: i.e. person a- i met this cute girl
ninjachoccobo: person b- BAM!
ninjachoccobo: or... i gotta BAM
Thank God for Black Lightening Notes. There would have been no other way of studying for my "Statistics in Psychology" final. Class notes? Yea right. Downright impossible, considering that I've been to the 8am lecture only four times this semester, like the morning sloth that I am. Two of those times was due to the fact that they were midterm days. Here's a sad story: The day I went to take my first midterm, there was an elderly man in the front, giving out instructions to the GSI's and the students.. I was thinking, "who the heck is this guy?!" It took me a couple moments to figure out that he was my professor.

I'm currently reading lecture 20 out of 29, and each lecture is so incredibly long. But I can't wait till I reach lecture 22. Why? Because that was the day of my second midterm, and all there's only one page with a couple lines stating, "There was a test during this lecture, so relish in the fact that you have one less lecture to read over for the final." It's a great feeling to read that.

Pablo is one weird but encouraging guy.

Thanks andy. I owe you one man

Aside from snow, rain has got to be the best weather all-around. I mean, I love those sun-shiney days. Berkeley weather during the spring and fall is probably the best weather in california. But it's hard to compete with a crisp, windy, pouring rainy day as this one. (lightning and thunder = a big plus.)

Reasons why rain is awesome:

1) Rain is awesome.
2) Sitting at home and listening to the raindrops hitting your windows is a great feeling.
3) Sitting in your car and listening to the raindrops hitting your car windows is a great feeling.
4) You get to wear your snowboarding jackets for a reason other than for going snowboaring.
5) You can wear pajamas pants underneath your jeans. (dont deny, I know some of you do that)
6) It's okay if you have a bad hair day; just stand in the rain for a couple seconds and your hair will look glossy and clean.
7) Watching the tidal pools of water gushing into the gutters is a breathtaking sight.
8) Walking in the rain and listening to the raindrops hitting your umbrella is a great feeling.
9) Even if you are without an umbrella, it's even better. Walking in the rain and feeling the raindrops hitting your face is the best remedy for a congested spirit.
10) Driving through those deep trenches of water in the street makes you feel powerful.

List is open to further additions! =)

Rain, rain, come today, don't go away to another day

Another loss. The lakers must be hating it right now.

go LA.. =(
I went to go watch the LeBron James basketball game at john song and rob's place with roach and heuge. Man, did he tear it up against No. 1 ranked Oak Hill. Afterwards, we all played nba 2k2 on the nintendo gamecube, and it was really entertaining. Me and roach got schooled by john and rob, but it was fun pretending to play as a real NBA player for a half hour.

I wish I could ball like LeBron James. C'mon, I wish I could at least ball like the guys in our class, who all seriously have game. I wish I could have the crazy ball handles of john song, the lightening-quickness and hustle of roach, the graceful movability of snoh and heuge, the flat-out amazing dunking ability of slum, the racy hair-flowing action of billy, the in-your-face confidence of chuck, sniper-like accuracy of rob, mike and pablo, and the sexy good looks of mascot andychon.

If I had all their skills combined, I would be one crazy good-looking baller. I wouldn't need to stress over finals right now because I would probably be in the NBA, schooling Kobe and Tracy McGrady.

Big advantage of having the majority of your co-workers being chinese: LOTS of sushi at potlucks. I am staring at a couple mounds of sushi right now. Just five feet away. brb!

10 minutes later:
Oh boy, my boss just said I could take the rest of the sushi home. =)

I love sushi!!

Finance was the hardest test I've ever taken in my life. Rocked my life, but I tried my best. So I'm grateful to Him once again.

*whew*

10) Still have to pay my parking ticket...
I like going to the library. Especially during finals season when it's open 24 hours a day. You get to see your friends and also people who you haven't seen in a while, always asking the usual "when's your finals?" or "when are you going home for winter break?" You mingle with more people, walk around to see if there's anyone else you know. Then you finally sit down at the seat that was graciously saved for you, take out all your books, only to find yourself subconsciously staring off into space or turning to someone to talk to again. Well, that's how it goes for me 90% of the time. It's 99.99% of the time for paul. But amidst of all the finals and papers, all the complaints and talks of despair you vent out to your fellow classmates likewise as they vent to you, makes you realize that you are not alone.

But I definitely will be in approximately three hours. All alone with my ugly fat exam. I am so dead guys. But all your words of encouragement and prayers are heartily appreciated. So thus, I will try my best. See ya on the flip side...

First final tomorrow for financial management. This is so far the worst class I've taken at berkeley in terms of the instructors, the material, how the instructors present the material, and how the material rocks my world.

Need to stop complaining, and need to start getting a grip on this. 25.5 hrs and counting

Just came back from eating at Chevy's for Hannah's 21st birthday. hahah it was a lot of fun..I dont like sitting across from paul. He smiles way too much. Happy birthday again hannah!

I had a conversation with andy just now.. this is the true version:

ACkTuPaC: i'm gonna be sad
ACkTuPaC: when all you fools are hoooked up
ACkTuPaC: that's gonna be like next week
boy52: dood
boy52: even though you can marry five girls right now and they will be okay with it because theyre marrying you
ACkTuPaC: you're lying
ACkTuPaC: i'm gonna hold you to this
boy52: okay fine, you are admitting that you are pimp enough that you can marry five girls??
ACkTuPaC: heck yah
boy52: is it okay to post this conversation on my blog?
ACkTuPaC: no problem

Thanks Andy..you know it, i know it, and you will make five girls very lucky one day!

***disclaimer: parts of conversation might have been edited***
It is finally raining! I love the rain. I wish it would rain so much that finals would be cancelled.. maybe?
Happy 21st Hannah Kim! You better eat all my squished muffins man. =)

Long day at church... I'm glad some people made me go to the teacher's dinner thing afterwards. There was so much food and I ate a lot, so eating dinner is one less thing that I have to do tonight.

Let's rock this overdue paper..

Saturday, December 07, 2002

The junior girls gave the guys a Brother's Appreciation Night tonight, and I was seriously taken aback by how much time, effort and thoughtfulness went into the whole thing. Cmon, they even made us personalized cups. Personalized cups and personalized placemats. =) Seriously, thank you so dang much.. it was tons of fun and reminded me of the many sisters who dearly care for their brothers.

We were having some technical difficulties with running the slideshow. But andychon ripped open his shirt, revealing a well-recognizable "S" underneath, fixed the projecting system and saved the day. =O

I'm the kind of person who can't wait to graduate, get a job, and start working in the real world. There's only 1.5 years left till that happens. But for the first time today, I really didn't want college to end.

Friday, December 06, 2002

Where's the rain???
more quotes:

boy52: your icon is ghetto
Lailahpuff: ITS A FRENCH PEA!!!!!!!!!!!
boy52: it looks like a booger in snow clothes

UPT0WNREP: i like to eat jalepeno chips and drink squirt while typing up my paper that is due next week

And so, it comes to an end. Like a knight valiantly hanging up his armor, so too must I retire the outfit that I wore for five days. Goodbye ficb sophomore retreat shirt, carpenter jeans, and bleach-splattered gap jacket.. but you will be back in the rotation probably by next week.

I repeat, I showered everyday guys.. Oh which reminds me, bay area dwellers, be expecting some rain and thunderstorms tomorrow!

Thursday, December 05, 2002

Thanks guys, who prayed for me last night while I was stressing over my paper. I found out today that my GSI was willing to extend my deadline to next monday.. so I am really one fortunate person. But thanks again.

On another note, I arranged food on silver platters today for the very first time. At work, I was told that there would be this big presentation thing going on later in the day, and our department was in charge of serving everyone food. So I had the honor of arranging shrimps, cookies, crackers, vegetables and grapes in all different designs and patterns on the plates. I have to admit that it was pretty fun exercising creativity through food rearrangement. Then instead of staying after to eat with the rest, I left because I was craving KFC, so I went and split the 4-person family meal with heuge and we devoured it. yayee!

IM comments of the day:

oo phatyum oo: MUNG MUNG!
oo phatyum oo: say bach bach
oo phatyum oo: like a chicken

isithotorjustme: you lag like an old lady in a cadillac
This entry is dedicated to my dear downey amiga, Cindy Park:

ChEEnDy: i think you should include me in yoru blog
ChEEnDy: then everyone woudl read it
ChEEnDy: dont 'you wnat to be nice like jesus?

Yes, I want to be nice and loving like jesus, but I don't think He ever demanded to be in blog. Yo, you better give me some free pills once you become a pharmacist in ten years. =)

I can't believe I'm consciously doing things thats keeping me from studying. Argh.

downey represent..

Just writing to the world that I'm still alive with my battle against school.

Nancy fed me and ghandee a really great dinner tonight. I would give her e-props for it, but too bad we're all on BLOGSPOT instead of xanga. So here is a *high five* And andy, two words for you: real-time

Pablo yells at me for not calling him to eat dinner that he conveniently cannot attend anyways, since he was planning to go watch the co-ed softball game. You are true friend paul. Pizzahead.

Finally, for those who don't use Microsoft Outlook or Eudora to download their mail from an internet mailbox, please do. People like Hannah Kim, who keeps 3187 pieces of email sitting in her Bearmail mailbox which uses up 99% of her quota, make the entire cyberspace go slower.

Back to reality folks..

Nancy's the dirtiest dirty-looking girl I've ever met

i kid, nancinator
At the Haas A La Carte Cafeteria, I foolishly bought:

Saran-wrapped Roast Beef Sandwich + 24 oz. soda = $5.85

If I went to Mcdonald's, I could have bought 20 pieces of chicken mcnuggets, large fries and a drink with unlimited refills for that price. Wow, this sandwich tastes so bad.. I wish it came with a money-back guarantee.

9) Four days in a row.. getting to the point that I hope not to run into people who I saw yesterday

Tuesday, December 03, 2002

hahahah, I really love andy. He's going to make someone freakin lucky one day.

8) Almost burned another batch of deh ji bulgogi again. But I turned off the heat just in time. SKILLZ!!
7) Forgot to pay my parking ticket, which has been sitting on my desk, accumulating dust for the past two weeks. Oh dangit...
Feeling very clumsy and forgetful these days:

1) Locked my keys in my car last night in the library parking lot (thanks again hannah, for picking me up)
2) Forgot that the deh ji bulgogi I was cooking was still frying in the pan.. resulting in a badly burned plate of deh ji bulgogi
3) Hit my thigh against a coffee table really hard
4) Accidentally drove down the opposite side of the road
5) Forgot to pay the rent (which me and heuge still need to do)
6) Wore the same outfit for three days in a row (not because I was forgetful, but this was intentional)

=(

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamt that the bald spot in the top back of my head (you know, from parting your hair) grew and grew until I had no more hair on my head. I think I've been thinking too much lately.

Oh yea, and I found out something really incredible last night when I was working with my finance group. I was typing up the essay portion of the project we were working on, until one of my group members said, "Hey, you forgot to space twice after every sentence." I said, "What? You're crazy man.. you're supposed to only press the space button once." Then my other group members gave me weird looks and said, "Dood, that's wrong. You're supposed to space only once after commas and stuff. Space twice after periods.. everyone does this for papers." Well, it may not sound like a big deal, but I was really shocked.. and then realized how much I've been cheated after all those years of writing one-spaced papers. All those times when I needed just one more page to finish, I could have two-spaced after every sentence and could have been done. Ah, whatever, I'm done mourning over it. I don't want my bald spot to start growing now. =T

Today marks the first day of a roller-coaster week..

Sunday, December 01, 2002

The drive back to berkeley was surprisingly quick. We left at 6am and arrived here by 2pm. I think I'm finally feeling the effects from drinking so many cups of coffee this morning.

I would like to take a looong nap right now, but I'm not too fond of taking naps so much. For me, I feel like I should be doing something productive while the sun is still out, instead of sleeping. Why even bother, if I'm going to sleep later tonight anyways right? But it always ends up that I 1) don't do anything productive, 2) sleep at a ridiculously late hour, 3) wake up at a ridiculously late hour, and 4) condemn myself for ever believing that I would have used those hours productively. In short, that's one way to summarize my entire fall semester. Maybe that's why I spent 14+ hours in bed everyday this past weekend.. needed to recuperate from a very tiring, unbalanced and foolish schedule.

See, Eugene is smart; he's happily snoozing away in his bed behind me. Well, today marks a new week.. I hope to have a new attitude and finish off the semester strong.

Saturday, November 30, 2002

Sigh. Leaving home by 6am tomorrow morning. Where have these last few days disappeared to..

Friday, November 29, 2002

Random Thought: Instead of working on my finance project, I was sitting in my chair listening to the Mr. Holland's Opus soundtrack for the last hour. Mr. Holland's Opus was such a good movie! Rating the sentimental, feel-good factor, it's up there with Forrest Gump and The Lion King.
Wow, it's raining outside right now. And I'm home indoors. A perfect opportunity to further procrastinate from my schoolwork by updating with another entry. (I am so dead guys)

Thanksgiving was a simple, comfortable one. I got to see some of my guy cousins, who out of nowhere, grew four inches since the last time we met. They're both way taller than I am now, but it makes me happy that they grew in their maturity too. My mom and my aunt cooked all day yesterday.. and yep, they brought out all the wondrous traditional thanksgiving food, as well as some korean gal-bi-jjeem. OH MAN! So dinner was really good, fellowship with the family and relatives was really good.. reminding me once again of God's divine providence over my life, His perfect love, and how He will be good forever.

My other little cousins are over now.. Debora and Christopher! I wish I could speak Korean as well as they could..I hear them singing along to the Dragon Tales cartoon right now. I hope they stay cute forever. I'm going to go play with them some more.. school? School can wait.. I have better things to do. ;)

Thursday, November 28, 2002

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. =)

Wednesday, November 27, 2002

Hello Downey!

Tuesday, November 26, 2002

Goodbye Berkeley!
Found out my thanksgiving weekend will be completely overwhelmed with schoolwork. Two psychology projects to write up. Finance project to write up. Psychology midterm to study for.

On the other hand, I have a nostalgic city, however super-ghetto, to come back to. Old friends to visit and play with. Home church to come back to and worship in. Awesome family members and relatives to reunite with.

Home is gonna be great.

ps. For you grammar-sensitive readers, sorry for ending 90% of these sentences with prepositions. But happy thanksgiving (soon!). =)

Monday, November 25, 2002

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

I've forgotten.

Tonight was the night of the big annual thanksgiving dinner/fellowship. Geewon's small group had dinner and fellowship with jenny myung's small group. Wow, I have to give big props to rob for preparing the turkey and the stuffing mostly by himself. I went over to jenny myung's place beforehand to help make some last minute dishes, but it didn't seem like I was of any help. I just made unhealthy vegetable-oil-soaked potatoes. Jenny and her small group girls were professionally taking over the kitchen and using all these cooking lingo terms that I wasn't familiar with.. but it was fun. =)

Then everyone headed over to rob's place. Prayed, ate ridiculously-awesome food, and generally had a good time of fun. Correction: not good time, but great time. People are awesome.

Visited jahndee and susan's lair little later in the evening, and wow..I'll just say that it was a "where's waldo" kind of experience. Hahah, you guys can ask them yourselves. I don't want to say anything that'll jeopardize any chance of them landing a guy in the future.

Goin back to downey in two days! TWO days!

Saturday, November 23, 2002

OH what a glorious day it is for the cailfornia golden bears!! Went to watch the CAL vs. STANFORD BIG GAME game today.. and man, did we rock... 30-7 fellas! Such energy throughout the entire game.. After Cal scored their first touchdown in the first quarter, excitement erupted everywhere...and then someone threw up on a girl a couple rows behind me. O_o That, along with stanfurd's offense and defense, were the only things that stunk the whole day. In the fourth quarter, everyone started rushing the field while there was still 11 seconds on the clock, but Stanford didn't care so they just let the clock run down.

I actually got to exchange high-fives with a lot of the football players when I rushed onto the field. They seemed larger-than-life when I was up close to them, but huege, john song and snohman were just as big and muscular as they were, so it's not a big deal.

I got a sore throat from yelling too much. Read this.

Bear territory!
It was our last ficb tonight. I can't believe how quickly this semester passed by already. Dave Shin and Jane Kwon gave a missions testimony of their trip to Tibet, and it was really awesome. Especially their slide show.. it was beautiful. I knew He was speaking to me. Honestly, I never felt so much towards missions until starting this semester. The idea of going on missions was the least of my concerns during my first two years in college, let alone praying for other missionaries. But since this past summer...I feel different. I don't want to make any personal vows or anything, but I hope to let go of myself and let God work through me in any way He pleases.. Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart.

After ficb, our junior class had a time of praise/prayer at capri. I thought more and more... of how much I'm going to miss all of them after college is over. And how much I should take advantage of the time that is given to me now.

Got pablo's permission to link his blog here. His Nov 21st entry was very jacked, yet insightful. Brutal, yet suave. I thought it was hilarious.

He demands so much..

isithotorjustme: and update your blog
isithotorjustme: i want something substantial

Like what, o wise one?

isithotorjustme: like mine about ugly people

Yeah, Paul is a real mean guy. But his analysis was really funny.

Going to the BIG GAME THIS SATURDAY! The oldest rivarly on the West Coast, Cal vs. Stanford. showdown...

It's even more intense this year, as it marks the twentieth anniversary of the historic, legendary, last play-of-the-game that led the Bears to victory. Yea you guessed it, it's appropriately coined THE PLAY. If you haven't seen it yet and even if you're not a Cal fan, check it out here and be amazed.

Gosh, it feels great to be up early in the morning! Had to get up at 7am because I took julie oh to the airport. Now I'm back and happy that I have a full day ahead of me.

Crap, I forgot I had an 8 'o'clock lecture. My morning is ruined. Well, not really.
Hahah..

Don't you guys just love the rectangular french-bread pepperoni pizzas they sell at costco? You guys know what I'm talkin about. I'm sure your mom or dad have at least bought a couple boxes and stacked them in the freezer at home. I think eating one is just not enough.

I just opened up another pizza. Hmm, I didn't see any pepperoni. I lifted the pizza and I found three pieces of pepperoni frozen to the bottom. =(

Sigh...where is winter vacation when you need it most..
I went to la burrita for lunch today. I bought the small-sized carne asada instead the large that I usually get. I was really full after I ate it too..I'm afraid that my stomach is getting smaller and I can't eat as much as I used to in freshman and sophomore year. Or maybe it was because I ate dinner at 2am again last night? Anyways, this was a retarded post.

phatyum is cool. =)
Went to costco earlier today with pablo, kwan and kristy. I was really excited because I thought I would save so much money by getting gas there, instead of getting it at the local chevron. But in the end, it turned out that I only saved a dollar. But it's okay, I had their awesome hot dog and soda meal for only $1.50!

Paul is the worst person you can have to sit in the passenger seat. I'm glad he has his own car.

Oh yea, one more thing... When I was walking through the campus to go home (early evening), I saw Sather Gate decorated with bright white and blue christmas lights. It was a really nice sight..reminded me that Christmas is just around the corner. Not to be sappy or anything, but hope you guys get to see it soon.
Reached an all-time low: first meal of the day at 6:47pm.

Don't tell my mom please; she'll spaz out.
I woke up feeling really tired and groggy this morning. I know it's because I ate a meal at 1am last night. why? I have a theory, that when you eat really late and then go to bed, your body is still awake while your conscious mind isn't. Your stomach is busy digesting away all the food you ate, because you have a messed-up eating schedule where every meal is overdue by three or four hours (sorry, "you" is actually "i"). kinda make sense? Stupid bbq chicken burger..
Thoughts on the guys in my class? weird..random...creative jackers....but overall, hahah.. very lovable.

I really want to learn how to play the drums. I only know one stinkin beat. Eric, our drummer for worship team, is ridiculously good... I asked him for some advice, and his response?

"Yea, it's really easy man...drums are so easy...cake... You know what you should do? Just think of a beat and play it"

This didn't help me in any way. I think I just felt more discouraged and incompetent. just kidding bro. =)
Had a really really fun and relaxed day today. after praise practice, I met up with my small group and julie oh's small group for the barbeque at this park in walnut creek. FiCBers, remember that park where we had that picnic in the summer, with the bay right there and the playground? So that's where we went.. and wow, there was so much good food, like galbee, chicken, salad, cookies, cheesecake, and so on. The weather was incredible too...made the view so serene. Came home, took a quick nap, then went to go watch "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" with a lot of people. WOW, I really liked the movie a lot! even though it was incredibly long. I wish I could become a wizard, carry around a wand, and speak with a really cool english accent. I think english accents are the best.

I had a really good talk with gower today about which places are really good to eat. Spenger's Grotto, Crepevine, Cafe Venezia...dangit, where else? I should have wrote them down immediately when I got home. Hahah..it was funny of how long we talked about food.

Go watch Harry Potter if you haven't yet already!

Hahah, no steakhouse tonight. =P Went to in-n-out with the small group, watched the lakers beat the warriors, and played a lot of video games later. Perfect guy-bonding session.

Wow, my finance quiz covered material that the professor didn't even go over in lecture yet. We complained to our GSI, but he just muttered something incomprehensible in his broken english. Got rocked really badly.

Trying to forget the past...but thanks anyways carolina!

g0LdFiShEe 27: oooh. nice. you got a ticket
g0LdFiShEe 27: congratulations
boy52: haha sucks
boy52: im such a retard
g0LdFiShEe 27: dude... getting a ticket doesn't make you a retard
g0LdFiShEe 27: sucking up your cd player remote makes you a retard

time to eat! =)
It's noon...I'm at school and I can't wait till tonight. Tonight is small group night, and I think we're going to go eat somewhere really good, maybe a steakhouse? Then tomorrow, we're having a small group fellowship with julie oh's group by busting out the meat and having a barbeque. Food brings us oh so close together.

Anyways, there's a group project meeting and a finance quiz that I have to endure first..

TGIF!
made potatoes for dinner tonight. cut finger in the process. ow.

In my five years as a safe and experienced driver, today marks a dark day in my automotive history. I got my first ticket ever, eliminating any hope of retaining a perfect driving record for the rest of my life (which was one of my life goals..seriously!). Well okay, it wasn't a speeding ticket or anything serious like that. I got a stupid parking ticket for parking in that little campus lot across from the library. And it's not the ticket that's making me feel retarded, but the fact that this whole thing could have been prevented. Hahah, by the way, for those who are confused of why one would get a ticket for parking in a parking lot, it's because I don't have one of those campus parking permits which you need to park anywhere on campus.

dangit, so it was around 7:15 when I drove into campus, and before I reached the parking lot, I saw the campus parking enforcement guy driving around in his little parking enforcement car. Since he was driving in the direction away from the parking lot, I figured that he was done for the night and wouldn't come around to check for illegally parked cars. Besides, I just needed to print out a couple pages from the computing center.

parked, got out, ran to computer center, printed, and ran back out.. it was about 7:25. yep, great move, murphy's law proves itself once again as I saw flashing orange lights in the parking lot. i was thinking, "maybe he didnt check my car yet.." so i ran quickly to my car and to my relief, I didn't see any bright paper on my windshield! turned on the ignition and burned rubber...I saw the guy in my rearview mirror too, and we caught each other's eyes as I drove away..take that sucka!

My victory was short-lived when the lights from the campanile illuminated a yellow envelope stuck beneath my windshield wipers. In my haste, I pulled over in a handicap parking space (yea, i'm on a roll today) and pulled out the envelope, which enclosed a parking ticket. i drove home sadly.

Well anyways, I feel humbled by this experience, even though it's really retarded. It's about time i got a ticket because I parked in that lot about 6, 7 times already. Geez, I surprised I haven't gotten one sooner. On the plus side, I'm happy that I had something to write about in my blog. =)

So okay, I declare that I am the worst person when it comes to updating my blog consistently. Or updating at all. Who knows, this might be my last entry until i wait a couple months again, when by then, I will feel like the biggest retard when I read back on this entry. dangit! Even roacha updated his blog before I did...his last statement about "liking girls who wear overalls" rings through my head whenever i visit his page. check him out ladies! http://alex_is_my_name.blogspot.com/

Hmm..I hope to learn how to post links on this page and those cool message stuff later..

I'm really sad because I woke up so late today..2 in the afternoon. It was because last night, I was playing scrabble online with kwan and little hannah in this really ghetto website. We tried to find the scrabble game under yahoogames, but no luck. So we found this website that hosted scrabble, but you cant chat with each other while you play (they disable that function if you're not registered with the website), and it was just overall superghetto. Not only that, kwansoo leaves the room unexpectedly (he told me later that he accidentally pressed the power button on his computer), and the server crashes thirty minutes into the game. But it was really fun though while it lasted. Anyone want to play later?

12th week of classes...almost over. can't believe it. Paul and heuge went home for the weekend today, those lucky jerks. I really want to go home..

andychon, you couldnt have written a more selfish email. lates! =)

presenting...my small group leader TED:

syooperboy (10:25:37 PM): for reals? ok, that's cool. we were worried the reception would be empty
b o y 52 (10:27:05 PM): haha ..dont worry..i know a lot of people from my class are going
syooperboy (10:28:10 PM): alright. if there isn't any room then i'm gonna have to volunteer you to stay home
b o y 52 (10:29:41 PM): =(
syooperboy (10:36:10 PM): just playin.
syooperboy (10:36:27 PM): i'd have you wait outside and i'd bring you food and drinks
The highlight of my day was going hiking with my mom and dad (my brother was conveniently at some counterstrike tournament in LA with his friends). I know that it has been so long when we did anything like this together, and going to college doesn’t make it any easier to have opportunities like this. Well, we left around 9am (ah, a familiar time when I would go to sleep during finals season last week) and drove to a well-known hiking trail near Big Bear. Hahah…my parents were also happy because a parking fee wasn’t required on the last weekend of every month…a measly $5. apparently, they already knew about this deal through the Korean newspaper, which is also how they found about the hiking trail and stuff…geez, Korean parents would do anything to save a money! ;)

But the trail itself was very beautiful…it was a breezy day with some scattered clouds in the sky. Lots of different plants and flowers…and wow, pinecones all over the place. There were also a lot of redwoods and sequoias (I think) throughout the trail. Something funny happened…there was this one fallen tree with a branch sticking out vertically, and my dad eagerly shouted to me and my mom (in Korean), “look at my tae kwon do skills!” he kicked the branch really hard, but it was still too strong…so my dad bounced back like a rubber band and nearly toppled over…me and my mom were crackin’ up…ahh it was one of those times when you just had to be there to see it. =P

I think we hiked for a couple miles before we started our way down. It was great talking to my mom about stuff…she also started telling me stories of stupid things I did as a little kid. A long time ago, we went to Chinatown in San Francisco, and for some reason I got mad…so I ran away and hid behind a building from my family for the longest time…hmm, okay I guess it doesn’t sound too stupid. or interesting. But I could imagine myself doing the exact same things today that I used to do as a kid…but I’m glad that some things will never change.

Well, I previously mentioned that there were a lot of pinecones all over the place. My mom got this ingenious idea to illegally steal the pinecones from the park, spray paint them different colors and use them for Christmas. Wow, talk about thinking ahead like half a year hahah… my dad conveniently brought along a big plastic bag, and I think he stuffed like thirty or forty pinecones into the bag. We finally left, ate a healthy meal at subways, and went home. It felt really good for once to wake up early in the morning and use my day productively…and spending it with the family made it all the more worthwhile.

Kpxgrlx012 (1:01:15 AM): im not mean

wow...pulled another allnighter with friends.. O_O

we went to go watch star wars II at emerybay and i guess it was okay...i didnt expect much out of it so i wasnt that disappointed. on a side note, i dont know why so many people tell me that im so easily pleased by movies.. like i dont have the insight to see how bad a movie is. well just because i thought "princess diaries" was an alright movie, people cant trust my judgement whenever i say stuff like, "yeA that movie was SO GOOD!" (apparentely there are some people who thought that princess diaries was horrible) gimme a break foolios!

we ate at denny's, then went to jahndee's place where we stayed up playing cards and showing each other magic card tricks. it was pretty neat. kwan showed us this one really cool trick where he predicts the cards that you have, and jahndee was so amazed and her eyes got all huge O_O hahah but it took her forever to figure out how he did it....we even brought out poster board to draw wat happened to explain it to her, but she still had no clue..(just kidding ;P) but yea, it was also that time of night again for "mean-guy jahndee" to appear and make fun of me hardcore of my accents and looks and my whole existence (you should hear some of the stuff!!) hahah..but i know thats love speakin ;P

so i left jahndee's place around 5am because i had to pack to go home for LA... i packed, waited for Joy to pick me and diana up from berkeley to oakland airport, and we arrived just a couple hours ago in LAX. mom picked me up, came home, walked around the house, became familiar with everything again, and yea it feels like home. feels good. ;P now im starving so im gonna go eat something...eat and then sleep. geeZ i have the worst sleeping schedule in the universe (next to karen)

good luck to those who still have their finals in the next few days..

wHOa momma, it has been 5 stinkin days since i wrote in here! sorry guys, ive just been studying for finals and i took my last one today..mcb 41x, one of the most poorly-taught classes in the entire universe.. O_o me and karen tried staying up last night at the library, trying to squeeze in every drop about southern blot tests and recombinant DNA..unfortunately we crashed for a couple hours and i thought i was officially screwed when i woke up. the final started at 12:30 and its scheduled to end at 3:30...there were so many multiple choice questions and diagrams that my head started spinning...i think around 1:30, i fell asleep during the exam for twenty minutes...dang. its so weird because i never ever fell asleep during an exam before. yes, many constructive things im learning this year, along with my "school-sucks" attitude from my early early diagnosis of senioritis..arGh

well i finished the final finally, and i looked around and saw that i was one of the ten last people to finish...i turned in my test, clicked my heels, and went on my way to use a public restroom in stephen's hall to brush my teeth and wash my face. then i just went home and relaxed...which i havent done in a while..

this blog goes out to the library crew in main stacks! fight the good fight! remember to keep those water bottles and candies out of sight so they wont be confiscated! (i hope that beaver-looking library policeman finds something better to do)

i came back really stressed from the library, very worried about my studies and tests. But God used friends to help me up. I feel like the wealthiest man in the world who doesn't possess a single cent.

Sunday, May 12, 2002

dood, there are some hardcore people at the library..i came like an hour ago and it was jammed pack already...NERDS! and wat the heck am i doing at the computer? i finished printing the stuff i needed to print, and checking the email that i never get...dang it roy, cmon go study you buttface
wow, this is the earliest since ive come back from church on sundays...a record-breaking 1:50pm! its even cooler because there was no traffic in the morning or early afternoon, so we got to and fro faster. before this new schedule was implemented, the drive to sf was considerably longer because many people in the easy bay would leave around the same time as us to go to a baseball or football game in sf.

the new "church" itself was pretty cool and spacious. for those who dont know, it used to be a funeral home. but they fixed a lot of things and painted it up, so it looks like a church now. pastor eug shared with us some of kcpc's interesting history of termporary locations. it once shared a buddhist temple, a jim jone's cult temple, and a mosque (i think?). after service, we got yummy korean rice cakes and i think i ate like 20 of them. really good and sweet in the inside...i remember that while i was talking to andy, i popped one in my mouth and all the juice accidentally squirted out onto andy's jacket, like a mini-super soaker! it was really unexpected but funny..hahah. we had children's service next. a lot of the kids were complaining that there was no room to play or run around. at our previous church, there was a large area where kids could play...but nothing like that here. one little girl, ellen, timidly raised her hand and asked, "may we at least play in the nursery..?" i felt really bad for her at that point because i saw the room labeled "nursery" this morning. i looked inside and i saw that it was no larger than a kitchen. there was already a broken-up crib that took up half the room. but im sure we can get along without a playground for the kids for one year, when we'll be hopefully moving into kcpc's former location on this beautiful cliff that overlooks the pacific ocean...cant wait.

when we got home, eug climbed into bed to take a nap and suddenly said, "dang, these past two years went by pretty fast..." i have this theory of why people think "oh wow time is flying so fast!" as they grow older. okay, let me try to explain this..i did a bad job explaining to eugene so i think i will do a bad job explaining here. but theres a bottle okay! the bottle symbolizes someone's life. and each time you go through an important phase of life, say elementary school, a gas would be put into the bottle, lets say its blue gas. okay, so since gas takes shape of its container, the blue particles would disperse within the bottle. so at that point, elementary school would be predominant in the person's life and memories. life would be pretty slow because theres just one gas and its pretty homogenous in the bottle. but as the person goes through more stages, like middle school (red gas) and high school (green gas), the blue gas thats in the bottle has to make room for the red and green gases (this is assuming that the gases cant mix together or react). so the blue gas will be more dense and not take up as much room, and the red and green gases will do likewise. in a way, each gas layer has become smaller due to the confining space in the bottle, making it seem like time is going faster. so by the time people graduate from college and as they look back and say, "wow wat a fast four years it has been!" realistically, they would have been through so much and there would be so many different colored gases in the bottle that they cant help but see it that way. and the types of gases arent limited to school intervals, but also stuff like monumental events in life, memorable moments, friends, relationships, etc. i know that there are a lot of flaws in this analogy, and i must have a lot of gases in my brain to think of something weird like this. eug suggested a better example using marbles instead of gases, but that foolio just rolled over and fell asleep without finishing. i guess the main point is that a year when we were second graders and a year in college is still a year long no matter how you look at it, so make the most out of it.

i realize that blogs can be used as an effective weapon:

SKIM012 (2:16:28 PM): kids these age are so weird
SKIM012 (2:17:14 PM): he said he doesnt go to kcpc
SKIM012 (2:17:26 PM): but he got my sn from jenny
SKIM012 (2:17:34 PM): the student jenny
b o y 52 (2:17:35 PM): hmm interesting
b o y 52 (2:17:37 PM): oic
b o y 52 (2:18:32 PM): he likes you?
b o y 52 (2:18:36 PM): ;-)
SKIM012 (2:18:56 PM): oh yes
SKIM012 (2:18:58 PM): rowr
SKIM012 (2:19:03 PM): i have 12 year old admireres
b o y 52 (2:19:31 PM): thats going in my blog
SKIM012 (2:19:36 PM): HAHA
SKIM012 (2:19:38 PM): oops
SKIM012 (2:19:46 PM): u weirdo
b o y 52 (2:19:52 PM): excellent!

yes excellent indeed.. ;P

i have to go study now...and eat something. all this talk about gases is making me hungry..hahah! adioso
geez...3:16am right now and i have to wake up by 7:30 tomorrow morning to get ready for church! its the first sunday when kcpc will start their new schedule..frankly, im excited of how its going to be like. especially since we'll be back pretty early in the afternoon so we'll have time to relax or nap before hitting the books..

i really didn't do much again today...i woke up at 3:30 in the stinkin afternoon because me, karen, jahndee, sewon, and kristy stayed up all night from wat was supposed to be a "study session," but it ended up as a "school-sucks session." me and karen had fun reciting shakespeare plays with our awesome accent abilities, which bothered jahndee a lot, who was sleeping in the other room. O_O hahaha, i remember she came out with a pouting look on her face, exclaiming, "gosh ROY, you're so BAD AT ACCENTS!" hahah well maybe it wont sound so good to the untrained ear..but to the ear that captures beauty and eloquence, there will my accents reside =D

well...gotta get to sleep...have a full day manana. 99*

on a scale of 1-10 on tiredness, i am about a 17 right now..O_O ficb had their annual picnic today. we went to a park half hour away from berkeley, and boy, the scene was incredible. we had a great spot right next to a lake, surrounded by trees and mountains..and the air was so great. it was really fun because there was a playground there too, complete with a jungle gym, swings, slides and this awesome pirate ship thing with cool contraptions. =D but yea, it was fun because everyone was acting like little kids...jumping off the swings, seeing who can go down the slide the fastest, playing chicken fight on the jungle gyms..kwan ate it really hard because eric practically dragged him off the bars and kwan fell on his back O_o but he still retained enough sexiness to make some awesome catches in football later. =) a bunch of people were having the time of their life when they were coaxing people to come sit on this flexible bridge thing that connected the jungle gyms together..so basically, two people on each side would jump up and down really hard and the bridge would become really really wavy.. and the person sitting in the middle (who doesnt know about how wavy this thing shakes) would become so scared and have the funniest expression on their faces as the other guys start jumping up and down really hard on the bridge...ah you had to be there to see it!

came home on the big fat bus, watched the laker game with eug and roach, watched them grimace in pain when the lakers naturally kicked butt, and im just sitting here at my desk doing nothing. i have a lot to study right now, but i dont have the motivation to. i have a business test on monday and an early education final on tuesday, but im sure that just tickled your fancy. O_o well for no apparent reason, here are some AIM responses that just tickled my fancy:

aLEX s hYUN: my boxers are pink
Kpxgrlx012: i just ate 15 scoops of ice cream
biblia sacra pde: stickin tongue twister
biblia sacra pde: ur blog title :-)

haha yea, i dont know why i named my blog title like this. but im open to more suggestions! itll be easy because a lot of things rhyme with my name..;P take it easy fellas
sylvia made my day by saying that i had a good scottish accent! i was reciting william wallace's speech in braveheart and she was surprised by saying, "hey that's pretty good!" i have many accents...so far they are:

1) scottish
2) british
3) pirate
4) austrailian
5) indian (kind of hard...cant do it as well as julie)

karen felt that the other four accents didnt really count because: s u r f c LOUD 9 (2:39:18 AM): they all sound scottish in the end
if you guys ever want to hear them, just ask and i will gladly gladly gladly share! =D

today was a full busy day...i went to my last day at OASES...for those who dont know wat OASES is, its a tutoring program centered in downtown oakland. me and my tutee (his name is isaiah) wrote cards for each other. he drew something really funny in the card he gave me, which is kinda hard to explain with words. but yea, im really going to miss that kid...it was always a pleasure to tutor him every thursday and jumprope with him after he finished his homework. that guy is SO good at jumproping..i think he's the best ive seen! he does something weird like i would hold one end of the jumprope and he would hold the other, and as we start swinging the rope, he would then pivot his body so that he's able to jump in himself...so hes swinging the rope and jumping at the same time..does that make sense? it was pretty cool to see...if you are wondering how thats done, dont ask me because i cant do it. but i can show you my accents! =D

i dont think i got much done at the library as i hoped tonight...bad news too: i got caught by the library police. you know, those people who wear those yellow keychains around their necks, walking through the library and making sure that no one has food or drink out...and yes, i did something pretty stupid...i was sitting at a table with kristy, julie oh, sylvia, roach, and karen...i had a bottle of juice out on the table. i was reading my notes while i looked up and i saw a guy wearing a yellow shirt walk towards julie (she was sitting on my right). i looked at him for a sec and just assumed that he was julie's friend...at the same time, i saw sylvia and others hurriedly putting their water bottles away, but i just went back to studying. after a couple moments, sylvia was urgently whispering to me, "roy! your drink!" i looked up and i was confused about what was going on...i looked up and that guy was still standing there. he was looking at my drink, looked at me, looked at my drink again. it finally clicked in my head that HE was a library police guy, not julie's friend. argh...i didn't notice his yellow keychain around his neck because it was camouflaged with his yellow shirt...sneaky guy. i quickly picked up my drink and put it under the table, and i spilled some juice on the table while doing so. guys, watch out next time whenever you bring food or drinks in the library...those library cops can look like anyone...O_O

okay im pretty pooped again...time to hit the ol' hay. thanks for reading though...even though that this blog is mainly for my own purposes. nite!

ps. hey frances! if you're reading this...just go to www.blogger.com and you can sign up for one too. =D

ah..john mayer is such a good guitar player..dl his songs!

i wish i had photographic memory so i can flip through all the pages and memorize them..and during a test i would close my eyes and see that the answers are right there...its kinda hard to believe that there are actually people like that out there.. O_O

okay no more fantasizing...time to hit the library..be back by 2:30 guys!
im finally doing my laundry right now...i totally ran out of whites. heres a disgusting fact that i shared with eug and sharon...ive been wearing the same pair of socks for four days. sick, yea i know...but i SWEAR that i take showers every single day, PLUS i dont sweat in my feet like other people do! i dont know if that convinced you guys..is it too late to say april fools? O_o

didn't do much after i came home from school today. i just napped for a couple hours, ate dinner with eug, lifted with eug and snoh, and went to the library. geez, when i got there it was 'round 11:00pm and there was a mile-long wait list for the computers...i had to wait till 12:30 to finally get one. i think people are rushing to finish their term papers. last week, the girl sitting next to me (in the comp center) lost her entire research paper because her floppy disk crashed on her. she started crying and everything because it was due the next day...i felt really really horrible for her. word to the wise...try avoiding using floppy disks and instead, email it to yourself. floppy disks can corrupt itself over a period of time for no weird reason...like potatoes...mmm....if you leave potatoes out for a really long time, they start sprouting leaves and roots..looks reALLy crazy! okay sorry im on a tangenT..hahah geez.

i like walking home when its really dark and quiet..you know that path when you walk down from the library, across vlsb, across that little bridge, beside haas pavilion, down dana street...no people in sight, no other sounds beside the winds rustling through trees and your own footsteps...i found myself praying...well, not even praying, just conversing with Him just like how i would with a friend...i was reminded of a very simple lesson tonight...there's no better listener than God. you can blab on and on about anything you want, anytime you want...He's still listening wholeheartedly. the amazing part is that He knows your thoughts and cries of your heart before you even present them to Him. if He knows already, there really is no need to hide yourself from anything... a lot of people, myself included, just want God to verbally talk back to you like He did in the Old testament like with abraham and adam...i sometimes want the clouds to break and a thundering voice from heaven to call out, "roy!" but God is very evident in our world...very present. and just like hes the best listener there is, Hes the loudest person there is too...not by verbal words, but by His actions. His actions shown through nature, through other people, through your own heart...He responds to us in different ways. i think i still have trouble with this concept, because most of the time i miss or ignore wat Hes trying to tell me.. yea, we have two ears to listen, but most of the time, we have to listen with our hearts, where the incomprehensible is understood.

that about wraps up this night. i just have to wait for my laundry to finish so i can wear a clean pair of socks for tomorrow. =) this blog was dedicated to jahndee, who reminded me today over and over to update it so she can read it and avoid studying at all costs...heres to jahndee! =D

woo HOO i finally finished school for today..=) i woke up at 9:40am ish, so i quickly got ready and ran to haas by 10:15. by then, i was completely exhausted...i just turned in my paper and sat in the back of room like a bum. next, i didnt feel like going to mcb lecture because our professor is getting reaaal shady...kristy told me yesterday that hes calling up students to lecture instead of him lecturing. our prof looks a lot like robin williams, but imagine him as a 70 yr old version of robin williams. got some gbc buffalo wings and fries, then started walking towards tolman for discussion. but then i realized that i was really early, so i stopped by the morrison reading room and hang out..i really like the environment in there. its quiet, old-fashioned, velvet chairs and couches all over the room...i almost feel like a king of england when im in there..sorry if that didnt make sense to you. O_o lindur was there with her nose stuck in a book like always.. we just talked about a lotta stuff...i was just reminded of how important friends are especially in college...chances are, these guys are gonna be your life-long buddies..college is an opportune time to invest in friendships, but its really up to the person to make that extra effort to reach out. continuing on, i went to tolman and i found out that apparently, the last day of discussion was on monday and i didnt even go to that one...i totally thought today was the last one..me and hiyas felt really stupid. she kept on laughing her head off of how she missed the last couple months of mcb discussion, and today she finally shows up eager and ready...only to find a completely empty classroom. hmmm O_o mission failed...we got in her car and drove to bancroft and found a place to park..hiyas was then talking about how she purposely wanted to break the meter so she wont have to pay. we found a spot, parked, and she put a quarter in the meter, but yep...murphy's law..it got stuck. we tried shoving more coins in there to wiggle that first stuck coin, but those coins got stuck too...geez hiyas, you got your wish.

hmm..i just went to business lecture after that, where i fell asleep for more than half the period, and i came home now. nothing else to write about until later..im sure youre wringing your hands out of anticipation of wats more to come...ill try to update later aright!
oh yea, happy 20th mr. billy ku...20 years of being the handsome rugged man that he is.

okay i just finished my paper...i just wrote a couple more sentences that smelled like poop in there, and frankly i dont care about it anymore. you know wat? frankly i dont care about this blog right now either...but i do care about getting an hour and a half of sleep before turning it in by 10am..ARGH WHY IS HAAS SO FAR AWAY?!?

nite guys...i mean, morning. *ouch*
here i am...7:18am in the stinkin morning and i decide to update my blog. O_o well i was chatting with julie today, and she convinced me that i should be responsible to update my blog and entertain my audience. considering that only three people that i know of know about this blog (jahndee, eug, and now julie), i hope you guys will have fun reading whatever junk i post up here...O_O

actually, let me finish my BA paper first....i just want to say that i am really reeally hating school right now...why does it take a whole stinkin night to write two pages?!
